When selecting someone to construct your
pool, you should use an experienced, specialist pool builder who is licensed
with the Victorian Building Commission as a Registered Building Practitioner and
a member of the Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Victoria.
We suggest you talk to friends or relatives who own
pools, discuss their experiences involving colour, size, location, equipment,
finishes, landscaping, building and maintenance, and any problems they may have
encountered.
Additionally, we recommend you consult a number of
SPASA Members and arrange for them to inspect your site, provide
written quotations and details of their warranties, as well as Contract
Insurance. You may also consider asking the Member for addresses of pools
they've previously constructed so that you can inspect them.
