Chris Dorrity Memorial Member Golf Day on Friday 23 April - Register Now
SPASAVIC's annual Chris Dorrity Memorial Golf Day remains a favourite event amongst our Members each year.
Whether you're an amateur or a serious golfer, this is a great day out! Everyone has fun, and most importantly, you'll have the opportunity to socialise and network with others in our industry.
Brought to you by all our valued sponsors, our annual Golf Day will be held on Friday 23rd April, once again at the magnificent Southern Golf Club (Lower Dandenong Rd, Keysborough) situated in the heart of the sand belt region in Melbourne’s South-East.
The Southern Golf Club (Lower Dandenong Road, Keysborough) is the place to be on Friday 23rd April. This 18 hole, Par 72 championship course consistently rates as one of the finest in the country.
The cost is $140 per person which includes green fees, egg & bacon breakfast, snacks & refreshments from the drinks cart throughout play and a buffet lunch.

Changes to Australia's Insolvency System
The Commonwealth Government has recently changed Australia’s insolvency system.
These changes introduced new processes from 1 January 2021 which aim to reduce complexity, time and costs for small businesses. They include:
- A new ‘debtor in possession’ model, allowing the business owner to continue trading and propose a debt restructuring plan.
- A simpler liquidation process to benefit companies who have failed ‘honestly’ rather than because of intentional misconduct.
- Reduced investigative and reporting requirements for liquidators.
For more information on the changes and access to resources, small businesses can access insolvency information on the Business Victoria website.
These include the Business Recovery and Resilience Mentoring Program, which allows eligible business owners to receive up to four 2-hour mentoring sessions with an experienced business professional.
There is also the Partners in Wellbeing helpline, which offers free and confidential one-on-one access to wellbeing and mental health support. This telephone helpline has been expanded to provide business owners with free access to financial counsellors and will soon include a business advisory service.
